Home remodeling in Holmdel, NJ
Holmdel is a suburban township best known for the old Bell Labs campus, now Bell Works, and much of its housing was built in the decades that the labs drew people to the area — 1960s through 1980s colonials on larger lots, with newer construction filling in since. Houses of that vintage are structurally sound and generously sized but dated in exactly the ways that cost money to fix properly: original kitchens, compartmented layouts, and insulation and electrical built to standards nobody would specify today.
Working throughout Holmdel Village, Crawfords Corner, Centerville, Beacon Hill.
The 1960s–1980s stock here is usually sound enough that budget goes into layout and finish rather than structural repair — the opposite of the county's 1950s housing.
